Dolly Traveled through Perry County
Dolly’s life-sized standup recently toured the County raising funds for the Imagination Library, a free book gifting program for all registered Perry County kids from birth to age 5.
The Dollywood Foundation supplies the program, donors in the county pay for the actual books that are mailed to the kids in Perry County. It costs less than $30 per year to buy the books for each child. It's a perfect partnership!
To register a child under age 5, visit Imaginationlibrary.com or stop at one of the libraries in the county. It costs nothing to get your child or grandchild in the program.
To support the program: send checks to Genia Southall, 1486 Old Highway 13 South, Linden, TN 37096; donate to the Imagination Library at any of the Perry County libraries anytime; Venmo: @Imagination-Library. Money raised in Perry County stays in Perry County. Every donation is matched by the Governor's Early Literacy Foundation!
Your donation to support the literacy of Perry County children is important and appreciated.
